Active Equity Management

ASB Large Cap Core Equity’s record began in 1999, and ASB Large Cap Growth and ASB Large Cap Value records began in 2006. Their goal is to exceed their respective S&P 500 Index and Russell 1000 Growth Index and Russell 1000 Value Index returns over a market cycle, with less risk.

Investments are made in industry-leading large cap domestic stocks, with excellent and/or improving fundamentals. We utilize a multi-factor research approach, which considers our top-down, macroeconomic view, as well as our bottom-up fundamental analysis of individual companies.

All investments contain risk of underperformance and loss. ASB Large Cap Core Equity, ASB Large Cap Growth, and ASB Large Cap Value have historically underperformed in rapidly rising markets. The objectives of ASB Large Cap Core Equity, ASB Large Cap Growth, and ASB Large Cap Value are to outperform their respective benchmarks over a market cycle (5-7 years). These styles may not be suitable for investors with shorter investment horizons.

Passive Equity Management

ASB Investment Management also manages passive equity mandates for institutional investors. These include two private label index funds and three separately-managed investment accounts.
